Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.16%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST), which rose 33.33% or 19.00 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS) added 31.43% or 33.00 points to end at 138.00 and Golden Flower Tbk PT (JK:POLU) was up 25.00% or 355.00 points to 1,775.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which fell 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 at the close. Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM) declined 18.52% or 15.00 points to end at 66.00 and Green Power Group Tbk PT (JK:LABA) was down 15.43% or 54.00 points to 296.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 315 to 283 and 230 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 33.33% or 19.00 to 76.00. Shares in Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 31.43% or 33.00 to 138.00.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.74% or 0.51 to $69.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.71% or 0.51 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.56 to trade at $2,633.76 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.19% to 16,201.50, while AUD/IDR fell 0.37% to 10,113.99.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 107.88.
